Meet us

A young woman with blonde hair singing into a microphone while playing an electric guitar, with a digital clock showing 3:38 behind her.

Alma June and The Persian Cats The group’s sonic palette is an eclectic blend of musical styles that breaks down rigid genre boundaries. Although it never sidesteps nostalgia, their inventive sound is difficult to compare. The six piece features jazz-influenced vocals; classical fingerstyle guitar; neo-romantic viola stylings that weave into free-flowing beats; and intricate upright bass lines juxtaposed with a mournful multi-phonic horn section. In the band’s first year, they have performed for enthusiastic audiences at many local venues, including SPACE, Blue Portand Maine, and regular appearances at the Apohadion.

A whimsical Valentine decoration featuring a heart-shaped sign with the message "You really tie my laces." Next to it, a character with a red apple for a head, wearing pink glasses, a green jacket, yellow striped pants, a white shirt, red tie, and a green top hat. The character has a white furry tail and is holding a little sign that says "I'm glad I tie your Valentine. I love you."
